LAM (Laboratoire d’Astrophysique de Marseille) is a joint research unit of the CNRS-INSU and of the Université d'Aix-Marseille (AMU). LAM is one of the most important public research institutes in Europe in the area of astrophysics. It associates fundamental research in astrophysics with technological research in instrumentation. It is one of the few laboratories in France to be qualified to develop instrumentation for space missions.
AMU, through LAM, wants to extend its offering of educational services to pre-school level from today's existing services&material for primary and secondary levels.
